Cybersecurity Solutions for Critical Infrastructure under NIS2 and the New Czech Cybersecurity Act (Iron OT – Ilja David ) Cyberattacks targeting critical infrastructure and industrial environments are becoming increasingly frequent, with security incidents growing more sophisticated and destructive over time. This lecture focuses on the implementation of cybersecurity for operational technologies (OT), which include systems such as SCADA, DCS, SIS, PLC, RTU, IED, IoT, and others that are crucial components of critical infrastructure. The goal is to present both the theoretical and practical aspects of this specialized branch of cybersecurity, as well as the effective steps needed to ensure compliance with the European NIS2 directive and the proposed new Czech Cybersecurity Act, with proper application of IEC 62443 standards. The lecture is intended for a broad audience interested in cybersecurity for critical infrastructure and industrial environments. |
